Research Interests

Karina Liles is a Computer Science and Engineering Ph.D. student. She is a member of the USC Assistive Robotics and Technology Lab. Karina is interested in using robotics and assistive technology in areas such as educational settings where resources are limited, search and rescue missions where environments are dangerous and life threatening, and manufacturing where production can be increased and the quality can be improved. Her current research involves using assistive robotics in the classroom to provide directed and guided instruction to help students work independently at and beyond grade level.
